The church of St Margaret of Antioch & St Remigius, Seething, Norfolk dates substantially from the 14th century, although the round tower indicates an earlier foundation, probably around 1100AD. It is built of typical Norfolk materials, flint and rubble with more expensive imported stone around the doors and the windows.
The Friends of Seething Church was formed as the community realised that unless the community showed an interest in its Parish Church, not only would funding for major be more difficult, but more importantly, the church building itself would in the long term be under threat from closure or sale.
The money raised by the Friends is used to repair the fabric of the church and improve its facilities.
